Product Description

Star knife. Knoxville,Tennessee knife company STAR vintage Limited Edition canoe pattern folding knife Commemorateing the American Revolution of 1776.

Im selling as used as Im not the original owner and there are some light scratches on bolsters and blades.

Having said all of that, the knife has not been used but most likely the slight scratches are a result of handling.

Made in Japan.

A neat knife.

Comes in a nicely made wooden display box with a colorful American eagle painted on the lid

The knife handle is a mirror polish brass with intricate scroll etching on both sides.LET FREEDOM RING is etched in the center of the scroll.

Mirror polish blades. The large spear point blade is etched with a gold color Liberty Bell, AMERICAN REVOLUTION BICENTENNIAL 1776-1976 and STAR is stamped on the ricasso.

The small spear point blade is etched LIMITED EDITION 1068 OF 1776 The number corresponds with the date of the American Revolution.

3 5/8″ Closed, 2 5/8″ large blade, 2.0″ small blade. Both blades have a small amount of side play. Both blades are snappy.

The wood display box is in excellent condition, as is the red velvet liner. It measures 5 3/4″ long and 3 1/4″ wide and 1 1/2″ high. There is a spot at the top of the lid. I believe it may have been caused from a price sticker at some time.

A very neat knife and display box.

STAR was a knife company that imported knives from Japan in the 1980s. They designed knives for the STAR name and imported knives for companies like Parker,Frost, Robert Klass & Kissing Crane.
