For your consideration is this large custom folding knife made by Colorado knife maker Jim Sasser. I’m selling as used as I’m not the original owner. However you can see from photos the knife is in excellent condition. Some light scratches on blade.
Unfortunately Jim passed away awhile back. He was one of the pioneer knife makers. Made knives starting in the 1960’s. I used to visit Jim at his shop in Pueblo, Colorado. Purchased many of his knives so I can attest to the quality of any knife he made.
This is a fairly large folding knife.
Jim was known for using elk as his handle. Nickel silvers bolster. Brass liners and lined lanyard hole.
Mirror polished semi-skinner style blade most likely made from D-2 steel, can’t be for sure but every knife I got from him was made from D2. Nail nick. SASSER stamped on one tang.
4 7/8″ CLOSED, 8 5/8″ OAL, 3 3/8″ Blade, 1/8″ Thick. No blade play
