For your consideration is this vintage Iron Mountain Beaver design”STINGER” fixed blade hunting knife. Pre-owned but doesn’t appear to have been used. I hand polished the blade and handle with MAAS polish. The brass parts were tarnished and it didn’t take much to get them to a new looking shine.
Here is an article I read about them “The Iron Mountain knives have an interesting history. They actually have a patented handle design. They were originally made by Beaver in superior, Montana. Manny Silva & Sonny guiler designed the knives and Silva patented the unique handle design in late 1980. silva & Guiler went their separate ways in the mid 1980’s and Guiler and his wife continued to make the knives, now using the Iron Mountain Knife Company name in Sparks, Nevada. Guiler passed away several years ago and Silva never re-appeared. There were several different models with different handle choices. The STINGER was their most popular model.
