Im not real familiar with Huck Wofford other than I know about the mark he uses for his knives and why he marks them the way he does.
Flash H 95 The H stands for Huck. His sons name was Gordon. Put Flash and Gordon together you have Flash Gordon.
He made the knife in 1995
This is one of Hucks automatic knives.
Note: I received the following email from a collector for your consideration: “Just wanted to pass along some information about Huck. Many of James Huckebas knives were sold by a dealer named Flash Gordon Wofford. Wofford designed knives that Huck made and Wofford sold. The marking on the knife you have identify it as Flash designed and Huckeba made”.
Ive spoken to another knife dealer who also thought Wofford and Huck were the same person so apparently there is confusion about these 2 men.
Im not sure about the handle material used. I believe it is Ebony. It is a dark black.
Stainless pins and button.
The knife is real snappy. It opens with authority.
Bright blade. I dont know what steel Huck used. No blade play. Flash H 95 in script is etched on top edge of spring (It’s so small my camera would not pick it up)
4.5″ Closed, 3.25″ Blade, 1/8″ thick
