Hubertus Switchblade Knives – Automatic Knives – Springers

For your consideration is this customized Hubertus Lilliput automatic knife. Made in Germany.

There is no nail nick in the blade which indicates it was probably assembled in Germany. Knives with nail nicks were sent to U.S as a manual knife and assembled in U.S.

The traditional German term for pocket knives with a blade springing out of the handle by pressing the folding lever is “Springer”.

Some call this knife pattern a Lilliput. It’s the smaller version of the Hubertus line.

This Hubertus Lilliput was customized by knife maker  Tom Stratton of Indiana.

He added beautiful Mother of Pearl handle scales.

Exquisite file work on bolsters, lever and frame. He signed his name on one tang.
