Hogue, a famous name in gun grips, now has gotten into the knife business. They have done a collabration with famous knifemaker Allen Elishewitz and come up with a great tactical knife. Model 34140. Tanto Point style blade. Matte Black aluminum frame with grooves for a secure grip. Oversize heat treated button lock provides a real strong lockup.
They have safety in mind with this knife. They also added a sliding safety, which prevents knife from being closed if it has been engaged.
Hogue used a 1/4″ pivot pin. Most knives use a 3/16″ or smaller. One stout knife.
Deep finger groove.
154CM blade steel. Stonewash finish.
Thumb notches along top of blade. Ambidextrous thumb studs.
HOGUE etched on one side of blade. Elishewitz etched on other side.
A large stonewashed pocket clip which can be adjusted for tip up or tip down carry. The Hogue logo etched on it.
