Product Description

For your consideration is this unique vintage fixed blade hollow handle knife by Davisson/East. Pre-owned. Doesn’t appear to have ever been used.

I can’t find out much about this knife.

There was an article in the 1992 ‘Popular Mechanics” magazine. The one they show has a model number stamped on the butt of the handle. This has no other markings other than on one side of the blade. See this article in photos.

I believe it’s a real collector piece.

As mentioned above it’s a one piece of steel knife.

Coarse knurling handle and butt cap screw.

Integral guard.

Mirror polished drop point blade with swedge  about 1/2 the blade. The edge looks original DAVISSON/EAST SPARTA, NJ etched on one side of blade.

Hollow handle. Knurled screw that also has a notch for a screw driver.

10 3/8″ OAL, 5 7/8″ Blade, 4 3/4″ Cutting Edge, 1/4″ Thick (just shy of that)

Well made brown leather belt sheath with the knife.
