Product Description

In the 1980’s Barry Wood contracted with Pacific Cutlery Corporation to make his split handle folding knife. They made many of these and had PCC stamped on inside of one of the handles. I’m selling this as used as there is no box or papers. However you can see from the photos this knife has not been used.

I believe this knife is a parts knife that Barry had left over after their contract with Pacific Cutlery ended and I think Barry’s son in law ground the blade for the knife. The handle does not have the PCC stamp in handle. However the Barry Wood logo is stamped in on handle along with US PAT 3702510. As mentioned the split handle is  brushed & bead blasted

Opening is accomplished by lighting pressing down and outward at the rear indentation on the spine and allows one side of the handle and the blade to rotate down then forward until the blade locks in the forward position.

In the open position the knife is almost as strong as a fixed blade knife.

Closing requires the same slight thumb pressure at the indentation  then the one side of the handle is rotated back and around, catching the blade and the handle is closed.  I know it’s clear as mud but you will better understand when you play with the knife.

Another indication the knife is a modified PCC knife is the mirror polished spear point blade with false edge. I believe Mike Irie ground the blade for this knife as I have seen blades like this that have Mike’s logo etched on the blade.

3.75″ Closed, 2.625″ Blade, 6.5″ OAL
